Infant heart rate

Assessment of heart rate and heart rate variability. Heart rate is the number of times a heart beats per minute and normally ranges between 60 and 100 times for adults. Heart rate variability is the time fluctuation between heart beats.

Heart rate was registered, using a precordial, three-pole electrocardiogram (ECG) lead, with a 512 Hz sampling frequency.
