Excessive crying

This questionnaire asked whether participants felt like their baby cried a lot (yes/no), by asking whether the child cried, during the last week, for more than 3 hours a day (yes/no), on how many days did this occur, and how many hours a day the baby cried. Excessive crying can be identified as crying for 3 hours per day on 3 days in the preceding week using the Wessel’s criteria.

First two questions: Adapted Wessel criteria (cries >3h per day for >3 days/week), definition used by Reijneveld Pediatrics 2001. Last question Scale of Van der Wall (total amount of crying in hours/day on average in previous week)
