Verbal Fluency Test

The Verbal Fluency Test assesses how many words that belong to the same predetermined category participants can produce in a given time (usually 60 seconds). This category can be semantic, specified objects such as animals or fruits, or phonological, words beginning with a specified letter such as p.

In NTR, there were two letter categories, namely ‘r’ and ‘t’, and two subject categories, namely ‘animals’ and ‘professions’.
