Kiddie-Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (K-SADS) - Delusions

Lifetime experience of delusions was drawn from the Kiddie-Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (K-SADS) which was adapted for use in a self-reported questionnaire. A subset of the modules from the computerised version of the K-SADS was used for interview.

Lifetime experience of delusions was self-reported at 14 years old, using 6 items relating specifically to delusional experiences drawn from the Kiddie-Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (K-SADS). Items were rated on a 3-point Likert scale. At age 18 years, we administered a subset of the modules from the computerised version of the K-SADS, measuring specifically: mood disorders, psychosis, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, eating disorders, alcohol use disorder, drug use disorder, sleep problems and suicidality. The K-SADS is a semi-structured interview for the diagnosis of mental disorders in children aged 6-18 that involves both a screener section and accompanying supplements.
