    The scale was adapted, listing techniques for soothing (i.e., comforting your child). Mothers were presented with 10 soothing techniques and were asked if they applied them (1 = never, 2 = sometimes, 3 = often). Behaviours ranged from ‘Rocking’ to ‘Giving your child his/her favourite cuddly toy’.
