Alabama Parenting Questionnaire (APQ)

The Alabama Parenting Questionnaire (APQ) assessess several dimensions of parenting that have proven to be important for understanding the causes of conduct problems and delinquency in youth: Positive Reinforcement, Parental Involvement, Inconsistent Discipline, Poor Monitoring and Supervision, and Harsh Discipline.

The Alabama Parenting Questionnaire was used to measure parenting behavior and consists of 35 items which were used to measure parenting practices in five parental domains: involvement, positive parenting, poor monitoring/supervision, inconsistent discipline, and corporal punishment. Items are answered on a 5-point Likert scale. Dutch translation.
